We are looking for a Lead Software .NET Engineer.

About the Project

A white-label smart home application for motor homes and caravans. The application communicates via BLE with the vehicle to control various electronic devices (fridges, air conditioners, etc.).

The project presents a technical challenge as it requires integration with multiple IoT hardware devices and brands while maintaining scalability. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in architecture discussions and adapt solutions to evolving requirements.

Methodology: Agile with a hybrid framework combining Kanban and Scrum

• Backend: .NET 8, ASP.NET Core WebAPI, YARP
• Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis
• Azure Services: Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub, Azure IoT Hub & DPS, Azure SignalR, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Search, Azure Cache for Redis‍
• Monitoring and CI/CD: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Application Insights, GitLab CI/CD

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide direction and mentorship to the development team.
• Software Development: Design and implement high-quality solutions using .NET technologies.
• Architecture and Design: Contribute to system architecture discussions and ensure scalable, maintainable designs.
• Technical Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in .NET and Azure technologies.
• Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Release Support & Coordination: Oversee releases and ensure smooth delivery of updates.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and enhance system performance.
• Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.

Our Requirements:

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Extensive expertise in .NET 8, ASP.NET Core WebAPI, SQL Server
• Real-life experience implementing microservices for a project in production for over a year.
• Proficiency in working with Azure services.
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
